The Story
Like Moonlight Studs were inspired by the softness of moonlight slipping across skin — quiet, luminous, and almost impossible to hold onto for more than a moment. Their hidden freshwater pearl backing creates the illusion of pearls suspended around the ear, appearing and disappearing gently with movement and light. There is something deeply romantic about them: the feeling of getting ready slowly before an evening out, the last glow of candlelight in a mirror, pearls resting against warm skin long after midnight.
In Percy Bysshe Shelley’s To the Moon, the moon is imagined as a pale, wandering presence moving through the heavens — distant, luminous, and impossible not to follow with the eye. That same feeling lives in Like Moonlight Studs: pearls that seem to float around the ear like small moons, catching the light with a softness that feels romantic, mysterious, and beautifully composed.
