Parrot's Cove

The Parrot’s Cove Necklace feels like a fragment of tropical colour gathered from somewhere just beyond reach — where green parakeets disappear into canopies of light and flashes of blue linger in the air long after they have flown. At its centre, blue mother of pearl shifts between sea-glass blue, silvered turquoise, and soft clouded light, while white mother of pearl lends a quieter luminosity beneath it. Together, they create a sense of movement without motion, like feathers turning briefly in sunlight before dissolving back into foliage. It carries the feeling of a rare sighting — something vivid enough to arrest attention, yet fleeting enough to remain slightly mysterious.

Its atmosphere recalls the poetry of Farid ud-Din Attar, whose The Conference of the Birds transforms birds into symbols of longing, wonder, and the search for something greater than oneself. In the poem, each bird journeys toward a truth it cannot yet fully understand.
